Norman B. Lindquist, 62, of Manchester Twp., passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was raised in Audubon, NJ and lived in Brick, NJ for 25 years before moving to Manchester 12 years ago. Norman was a Media Specialist for the Long Branch Board of Education for 37 years, retiring on January 1st of this year. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam War veteran.

Predeceased by his parents, Bruce and Harriet Lindquist.

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Fran (nee Testa); 3 brothers, Jan of Barrington, NJ, Carl of Arizona, & Brian of CA; a sister, Pam Kelley-Githens of VA; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael & Lois Testa of Brick, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew.

A Memorial Gathering will be offered from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, with a funeral service to be offered at 11 a.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the , 2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
