Charles G. Angermeier
Evansville, Ind.
Charles G. Angermeier, 84, of Evansville passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at his home. He was born January 13, 1930 in Evansville to William and Catherine (Hummel) Angermeier.
Charles was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He retired from Key Construction in 1992 as Concrete Foreman. Charles was a life member of the VFW #1114 and member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wine making and his dogs.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Angermeier; and sister, Catherine Schmitt.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martina L. (Elpers); sons, Dr. Kenneth Angermeier (JoAnn), of Kirtland, Ohio, Alan Angermeier (Julie), Tom Angermeier (Karen), both of Evansville, and Darryl Angermeier (Tammy), of Haubstadt; daughter, Sharon O'Leary (John), of Evansville; grandchildren, Weston, Mason, Corbon, Griffon, Kennon, Ila, Jessica, Jacob, Allyson, Nicholas, Julia and Elizabeth Angermeier, Emily, Laura and Megan O'Leary; brother, Robert Angermeier (Nancy); sister-in-law, Jean Angermeier and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710 with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 W Mill Rd, Evansville, IN 47710.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 at the church with Fr. Paul Ferguson officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
