Charles Craig Griffith, 75 of Evansville, passed away July 4th, 2014 at River Pointe Health Campus. He was born February 18th, 1939 to the late James and Lela (Meganhardt) Griffith. He attended Henry Reis Grade School and graduated from Central High School. Charlie was an Eagle Scout. At Central he ran track and held a track record for many years. He graduated from Purdue University and served in the Navy where he was a Supply Officer. After an honorable discharge Charlie attended Indiana University. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence on June 30th, 1966. Charlie was a partner in the firm of Johnson, Carroll and Griffith for 30 plus years. Charlie was a fellow of the American College of trial attorneys. Charlie is a life member of the West Side Nut Club, VFW Post 1114 and the fraternal order of Eagles. Charlie is survived by his wife, Barbara (Piercy) Griffith, children, John (Heidi) Griffith, Duke (Bernadette) Fisher, Bart Fisher and Jennifer (Ryan) Youngblood. Stepchildren Laura (Mike) Joest and Jennifer Crane. Aunt, Betty French, Mother-In Law Faye Dickman and 13 grandchildren.
