Jack T. Suggs

On Friday May 2, 2014, Jack Terrence Suggs took his eternal rest. "JT," as he was affectionately known, was born February 14, 1957 to Barbara Ann Suggs and Richard Lee Suggs in Louisville, KY.
"JT" was a native "West-Sider" and a graduate of F.J. Reitz Memorial High School. He then went on to further his education at Purdue University; and later, acquired an Accounting Tech Occupational Certificate and an Associate of Accounting Degree from Ivy Tech Community College in Evansville IN. Jack worked at Whirlpool from 1978 to 1983, Bristol Meyers Squibb for 20 years, as a Supervisor in the International Business Division in Technical Support. He then worked several years at The Evansville Courier Press as a District Manager. Jack was the "fixer" and problem solver for his family, friends, and employers. When he wasn't problem solving, he enjoyed taking college courses. Reading mystery novels was also a favorite pastime. Sue Grafton and Agatha Christie were among his favorite authors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Diane Suggs; brother, Robert Larry Suggs; favorite "Little" Aunt, Mary Belle Brooks; and Uncle, Jake Freels.
Jack leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Barbara Ann "Bob" Suggs; daughters, Sherra J. and Savedra L. Suggs; and son, Anthony J. (Vasheena) Hardin; brother, Donald Wayne (Roseanne) Suggs; grandchildren, KeVondra, Terrell, and Ahmir Hardin, Jeremiah and Xavier Thomas, Shalexia Tyler and Jeniah Thomas; aunt, Pauline Buffet; nephews, Robert Larry Suggs Jr., Andres Suggs, and Larry Bryant; nieces, Janae Suggs, Takeda Petty, Shonna (Loren) Brown; a host of cousins; and Best Friend of over 30 years, Selwyn Buckner.
