John Alan Ross
Evansville, Ind.
John Alan Ross, 59, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
John was born in Evansville, Ind., on March 23, 1954, to Betty and Roger Ross. He graduated from North High School in Evansville, Ind. John served in the United States Marine Corps, worked for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth for 34 years as a field and service mechanic, and was a Master Mason at Ridglea Lodge #1341. John was an amazing man with a unique personality, an infectious smile, and an inspiring love for life. John enjoyed fishing, airplanes and spending time with his family, especially Saturday mornings with his grandson and best buddy, Cooper, who brought him an incredible amount of joy.
Survivors: Loving wife, Vickie Ross; daughters, Barbara Ross, Sabrina Houara, Jennifer Kirkpatrick (Russell), and Charlene Marroquin (Juan); sons, Johnathan Ross, Christopher Ross and Jason Taff; mother, Betty McIntyre (Jim); brother, Russell D. Ross (Judith); sister, Peggy Tweedall (Mark); grandchild, Cooper Alan Kirkpatrick; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
