Othmar Joseph Dick
Evansville, IN

Othmar J. Dick, 91, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital.
Mr. Dick was a member of Zion United Church of Christ on Fifth Street. He retired from the Evansville Fire Department in 1973. He also served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II and was a member of VFW Post # 1114.
He is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Lee (Ron) Maasberg of Evansville, Linda Jeane (Ron) Skinner of Xenia, OH and Donna Marie (John) Doll of Indianapolis, IN and two sons, Richard J. Dick and Michael W. (Leslie) Dick, both of Indianapolis and his sister in law, Sue Dreves. Also surviving are six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Hallie L (Dreves) Dick in 2012, his parents, Irma (Behagg) and Bernard Dick, Jr. and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 18, 2014 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. John E. Trnka officiating. Burial will follow in Tupman Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct graveside services.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Friday.
