Patrick Wayne Mitchell, Pat, 67 our beloved father, brother, uncle and friend passed away Tuesday December 31st, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia, his home of 40 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Bevan, and brothers, Mike and Tim. Pat was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1946 where he attended Rietz High school as an All-Star football player. Afterwards he went on to Indiana University, home of the Hurrying Hoosiers basketball team. After graduating with a degree in business he went on to serve in the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant In the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for exceptional service.
