Robert L. 'Bob' Lowe
Boonville, Ind.
Robert L. "Bob" Lowe, 82, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at his residence in Boonville.
Bob was a member of Main St. United Methodist Church.
He retired from Peabody Coal Squaw Creek Mine and was a member of U.M.W.A. Local #1189.
Bob was a U.S. Navy Veteran during Korean War.
He loved Boonville sports and following grandsons baseball team and great grandsons.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William "Dick" and Viola Lowe; and his son, William Lowe.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Jeanette Lowe;six children; Bill McKean, Peg Carr, Pam Webb, Larry Lowe, Sandy Head and Jeff Lowe; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Dottie Lunte; and one brother, Ron Lowe.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Main St. United Methodist Church, with military rites by the Warrick County Veterans Memorial Service. Friends may call Saturday 2 to 7 p.m. at Main St. United Methodist Church.
The family wishes to thank Deaconess Hospice, St. Mary's Home Health Care and Woodmont Health Campus for their kindness and care.
