Ronald J. Seger, age 63 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:53 a.m. on Tuesday (July 15, 2014) at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Ronald was born on December 10, 1950 in Washington, Indiana to Charles and Geraldine (Howard) Seger. He married Kathleen Klein on June 25, 1972 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, IN.
Most recently, Ron managed the Dubois County Community Meal Program.
He was an Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War.
He was the Grand Knight and a 4th Degree Knight of the Jasper Knights of Columbus Council #1584. He was a member of the VFW Post #673 in Jasper and the American Legion Post #493 in Jasper.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, where he was active in the Christ Renews his Parish community, Cursillo, and the Education Commission.
He was known for his big heart, memorable smile, and his positive attitude. He enjoyed cooking and grilling, reading, was an avid volunteer for many organizations, and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services for Ronald J. Seger will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday (July 19, 2014) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, IN, with burial to follow in the Jasper Enlow Cemetery in Jasper, IN. The VFW Post #673 will conduct military gravesite rites.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday (July 18, 2014) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
