Walter R. Bosse
Evansville, Indiana
Walter R. Bosse, 90, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014, at his home.
Walter served in the US Army during WWII and Korea.
Walter was a proud, lifelong farmer who was a partner in Bosse Brothers Farms. The farm produced dairy, beef, pork, poultry, hay and grain.
Walter was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lilly Edna (Liggett) Bosse; brother, Herman Bosse; and sister, Martha Perkins.
He is survived by his son, Ron Bosse (Judy); daughters, Donna Roth (Mike) and Sandra Bosse; grandchildren, Angie Fetscher (Mike), Brian Bosse, Jennifer Harris (Ron), Stacy Musgrove (Jamie) and Brian Melton (Stephanie); great grandchildren, Shawn and Ashley Fetscher, Emma, Allie, and Paige Musgrove, Devan Rudd, and Jacob Melton; sister, Clara Taylor; sister-in-law, Wilma Bosse; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Doug Heilman, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites by the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club. Friends may visit Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
