Billy Edward Kidd Obituary
Billy Edward Kidd, 71, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, in Puyallup, Wash., after a long battle with vascular disease and cancer. Memorial service: Will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, in Loraine, Texas, for family and close friends. Billy was born in Roscoe on March 26, 1942, to Alfred and Polly Ann Kidd and was the youngest of 10 children. He attended Loraine High School. In the 1960s, Billy moved to Fort Worth and worked as a carpenter at Lockheed Martin for 30 years. He married Marilyn Dillon and they made their home in Fort Worth. After his retirement in 1992, they moved to Washington. In the following years, they resided in Texas and Washington. Billy had a great Christian faith and love of family, which helped him overcome many health issues. He loved the mountains and trees and enjoyed country music, dancing, playing games, fishing, vegetable gardening and traveling the country. Survivors: His wife, Marilyn; son, Trevor (Alex) of Seattle, Wash.; brother, Jack (Linda); sister, Bobbie of Fort Worth; beloved nephew, David (Mindy) of Arlington; and several nieces and nephews.
