Billy "Bill" Glenn Wisdom, 74, passed away in his home Friday, Sept. 6, 2013. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorials: If desired, memorial tributes may be sent to North Side Legacy Foundation or Westaide Food Bank. Bill Wisdom was born May 31, 1939, in Fort Worth. He was a graduate of North Side High School (1957) and Texas A&M University (Class of '61). He was a member of Texas A&M's Corps of Cadets and played third base for the Aggies. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Quartermaster Corps. He was past president of the Fort Worth Board of Realtors. Bill was a successful entrepreneur, real estate developer and home builder. His hobbies included hunting, traveling, history and reading. He was a sportsman and lifelong Aggie fan. A man of many accomplishments; however, he was most proud of his children and grandchildren. He gave generously of himself and his resources. Bill was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and Glenn Houston Wisdom. Survivors: Loving wife of 54 years, Grace Wisdom; daughter, Kathy and her husband, Walker Hindman; son, Gary Wisdom and wife, Robin; granddaughter, Blair and husband, Drew Alpuerto; grandson, Barrett Wisdom; one soon-to-be-born great-grandson; and numerous other loving family members and lifelong friends.
