Bobby Frederick Rhodes Obituary
Bobby F. Rhodes went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Alsbury Baptist Church, Burleson, Scott Sharman, pastor. Bobby was born in Apperson, Okla., to Milt and Esther Rhodes. He was married to Martha Ann Miller in 1961 in Weatherford. They have been happily married for over 53 years. Bobby was a World War II Army-Air Force veteran serving as a waist gunner on B-24 aircraft. Following his military duty, Bobby was a special deputy for the Sheriff in Tarrant County, owner of the 312 Club in Fort Worth, and a welding supervisor serving all over the world with Chicago Bridge and Iron. He retired in 1985. Bobby was a 50-year member of the Moslah Shrine and a member of Royal Order of Jesters. He loved cruises, golf, and just having fun. He always had a twinkle in his eye and an infectious smile. He was a beloved friend to many. Survivors: His wife, Martha; many other family members and friends; and beloved cats, Pumpkin, Goldie and Princess.
