Harvey Lee Frye Obituary
Harvey Lee Frye passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 30, 2013. He was 92. Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the , 2630 West Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. Harvey was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Nowata, Okla., and grew up in San Antonio. He was a graduate of Fox Tech High School in San Antonio. During World War II he served in the 8th Air Force as a B-17 pilot. He was stationed in Tampa, Fla., where he met the love of his life and then was stationed in Knettishall, England. He retired from the Chilcote Co. in 1991. Harvey loved to study the Bible and was a dedicated Sunday school teacher at Bethesda Community Church for many years. He loved his church and his pastor. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather and a dedicated Christian. He will remain in the hearts of his loving family and all who knew him. Survivors: Wife of 69 years, Lois McCord Frye; sons, Harvey L. Frye Jr. and Robert D. Frye; and grandchildren, Katy A. Bonnano, Harvey L. Frye III and Jordan F. Frye.
