Michelle Walton Kinser Obituary
Michelle Walton Kinser died at the age of 47 on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, and went to be with her risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday in Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Blagg officiating. Interment: Cook Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lacy Funeral Home. Memorials: Donations may be made to Gideons International, Stephenville Camp, Box 76, Stephenville, Texas 76401; or the Cross Timbers Pregnancy Care Center, 1902 W. Sloan St., Stephenville, Texas 76401. Michelle was a member of Greens Creek Baptist Church in Dublin. She was born in Austin at Seton Hospital on March 8, 1966, to Kay Walton and Michael Cook Walton. Michelle attended Tarleton State University and Ohio State University. She was a wife and homemaker the majority of her life. She married the love of her life, Andrew Kinser, on Feb. 14, 1992. They have two beautiful daughters, Kali Danielle Kinser and Gabrielle Michelle Kinser. Michelle loved God's creation. She loved sunsets, wildlife, animals and all types of wondrous plants and trees. She loved watching ballets and theater productions, and had a genuine love for the arts. She was a published writer and poet. She was a rancher, homemaker, wife and mom foremost, and enjoyed feeding her "pet" catfish, rock hunting and gardening. Michelle was preceded in death by two babies she and Andrew never got to hold but always held in their hearts. She was also preceded in death by her father, Michael Cook Walton; paternal grandfather, E.V. Walton, and grandmother, Estelle Cook Walton, of Stephenville; mother-in-law, Betty Kinser and father-in-law, Rex Kinser. Survivors: Husband, Andrew Frank Kinser of Stephenville; daughters, Kali Danielle Kinser of Stephenville and Gabrielle Michelle Kinser of Stephenville; mother, Kay Walton Preston and her husband, Carl, of Abilene; sister, Virginia Ann Roberts and husband, John, of Beaumont; brother, Michael Vernon Walton and wife, Trina, of Lubbock; canine companions, Fifi and Pepper; nephews, Jeremy Hymer and wife, Amy, Adam Walton and Robert Chapman and wife, Holly; nieces, Margo Hymer, Tabitha Hymer, Abby Walton and Zoe Walton; great-nephew, Milam Thomas Hymer; uncle, Jim Walton; several cousins; and many precious in-laws.
