Remigio Gonzales Obituary
Remigio Gonzales, 94, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 5 p.m. Sunday in Mount Olivet Chapel, followed by visitation. Remigio was a World War II veteran who served in the Normandy Campaign, France and Central Europe and was awarded the EAME Campaign Medal with four Bronze Stars. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Adela Gonzales; and son Harry Gonzales. Survivors: Sons, John Gonzales, David Gonzales, Richard Gonzales and Rudy Gonzales; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
