Robert Edward Durham, 86, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at home surrounded by his family. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at South Park Baptist Church, 7201 Crowley Road, Fort Worth. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Edward was born Aug. 30, 1926, in Fort Worth. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and he retired from Container Corporation of America in Fort Worth after 43 years of service. He was a member of South Park Baptist Church in Fort Worth for over 40 years. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Pearl Durham; his daughter, Billie Gail Durham; and his sister, Margie Frederick. Survivors: His loving wife of 67 years, Faye Durham; nephew, Randy Frederick and wife, Tanya, and their sons, Cole and Cory Frederick; great-nephew, Robert Frederick and wife, April, and their son, River; sister-in-law, Mae Mills and children, Larry Mills and Charlotte Paseur; numerous other nieces and nephews; as well as his church family at South Park Baptist, including Rev. Gaylan and Linda Henry, Phil and Debbie Berry and their children, Olivia and Jacob Tucker, and Anna Berry and Micah Berry.
