Ryan Omar Siddique Obituary
Never, never, never give up. That is what Ryan Omar Siddique of Colleyville would tell you. Ryan passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014. He was 28 years old and he never gave up. Service: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. A tribute lap will immediately follow the service and interment will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. A memorial reception will take place immediately after burial at Bob Moore's Sports Center and Driving Range. Bring your golf clubs. Ryan was born in Bedford on June 27, 1985. Ryan earned his bachelor of arts degree in criminology from the University of Texas at Dallas in December of 2008. Ryan graduated from Grapevine High School in 2004. Ryan was an amazing and aspiring professional golfer. As a mentally and physically tough and dedicated player, he played on the University of Texas at Dallas Golf Team and still holds the record for the lowest round ever shot in the University's team history, a 67, while playing in the NCAA John Bohmann Memorial Tournament. He won medalist honors. Ryan finished tied for the final alternate spot in the Texas State Open prior to suffering a career changing back injury. He would practice for 12 and 14 hours a day in the grueling Texas sun to achieve his success as an athlete and lover of golf. Ryan worked at J.P. Barth Law Firm, PLLC, as the director of Greater Dallas for the law firm and title company. He was integral at launching the company's first Dallas office location and had rapidly expanded the firm's client base during the first few months of operation prior to suffering a stroke. Ryan was also passionate about fast cars. He was an avid Corvette enthusiast and belonged to a local Corvette club. He took pride in working on and showing his award-winning Corvette, even calling it to all who knew him, his "wife." Ryan will be fiercely missed and never forgotten. Survivors: Ryan is survived by his parents, Mohammad and Sharon Siddique; his French bulldog, Jett; his sister, Julia Barth; his sister, Shemila Chancellor; his brother-in-law, Jody Chancellor; his brother, Aaron Siddique; his sister-in-law, Stefanie Siddique; his nephew, Gavin Barth; his two nieces, Darby Barth and Rowan Mitchell; and his expectant niece, Emma Ryan Siddique, due to be delivered on April 29.
