Terry Eugene Snyder exchanged his earthly life for his heavenly one Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at a Grapevine hospital. Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Terry was born in Fort Worth on Nov. 23, 1956, to Gene and LaMoyne Thomas Snyder. He grew up in North Richland Hills where he attended Birdville ISD schools. He graduated in 1976 from Richland High school. He enjoyed bowling, camping, rodeos, dances and family reunions. He won numerous medals, trophies and ribbons during many years of participation in the Texas Special Olympics. Win or lose, he was always a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Terry claimed Jesus as his Savior at North Richland Hills Baptist Church on May 15, 1971. He was a member of Wedgewood Baptist Church at the time of his passing. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Karen Snyder Pirzchalski. Survivors: Mother, LaMoyne Snyder; brother, Stephen "Todd" Snyder and wife, Heather; brother-in-law, Stanley Pirzchalski; several nieces and nephews; caregiver, Samantha Houston; and extended family and friends. Terry never met a stranger and leaves this world with many friends.
