Dale Randall Venning

Beloved father, grandfather, son and brother, Dale Randall Venning, 63, passed away in his home surrounded by family from cancer on July 7, 2014. He was born on December 15, 1950, the son of Benjamin and Barbara Venning in Miami, Florida. Dale attended the University of Florida and University of Miami Medical School. After graduation he was a lieutenant in the United States Navy and a physician at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital. Dale had a long and fulfilling career as an emergency room physician in the South Bay and Orange County for 34 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Dale Venning; brother, Michael Joseph Venning; and daughter, Sarah Ann Venning. Dale is survived by his children, Brandon Venning, Rachel Tys, and Marc Venning; son-in-law, Nicholas Tys and daughter-in-law, Emily Venning; grandchildren, Lily, Jack and Beau; mother, Barbara Venning; sisters, Suzanne Nihill and Bobbye McNish; and wife of 35 years, Cynthia Venning. We will all miss his warm smile and kind, loving, and gentle manner. A memorial will be held at Rolling Hills Covenant Church's North Campus Chapel on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11am.
