James P. Kidwell, Ed.D.
James P. Kidwell passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2013 in Carson City, Neveda. Jim was born on March 31, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. The family relocated to Southern California in 1957. In his youth Jim attended schools in Hawthorne, CA. He earned degrees from
, California Lutheran University and the University of La Verne. He was an educator for 35 years in the Baldwin Park and Ontario-Montclair School Districts. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Donna Kidwell; daughter, Staci Harris (Jason); son, Jason and three beautiful granddaughters, Paige, Madison and Delaney. He is also survived by his parents, Paul and Patricia Kidwell; brothers, Charles (Billie), Robert (Patricia) and Michael; sister, Kathleen Kamiya (Wayne) and many nieces and nephews. A Mass celebration of Jim's life will be held at the Pope John Paul II Polish Center Catholic Church in Yorba Linda, California at 10:00am on February 16, 2013. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Book,
