William Chan "Mr. C"
William a San Pedro resident for 56 years passed away on August 16, 2014 at the age of 83. Born in Canton, China on November 29, 1930. Before moving to San Pedro, he proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. After returning to the States, he was in the restuarant and bar businesses prior to owning and operating Mr. C's Liquor for the last 40 years. He was always proud that his store was considered one of the luckiest Lottery locations in California. A life long member of health clubs, his favorite past time was going to the YMCA and later at Ballys gym. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, son; Kenneth Chan, daughter in law Janet Chan; grandchildren; Sandra, Andrew and Daniel. Always a sociable person.
