March 14, 1937 - April 24, 2014

Dale Ebbinghausen passed away in Woodland on April 24 at the age of 77.

He graduated from Woodland High School and served in the US Marine Corps.

He worked as a sheet metal worker and plumber at UC Davis. He was a past Exalted Ruler at the Woodland Elks Lodge and a past Deacon at St. John's Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan D. Ebbinghausen and brother Stan Ebbinghausen. He is survived by his wife of ten years, Evelyn Taylor-Ebbinghausen; son, Eric Dale Ebbinghausen (Tami); stepsons, Alan (Lisa) and Dennis Taylor, stepdaughter, Amy (Robert) Smith; sisters, Judy Garcia and Carol O'Neil; grandchildren, Taylor Ebbinghausen and Carisa and Matthew Baker, two great-grandchildren, Jocelynne Pineda and Brayden Davis; six step-grandchildren and four step-greatgrandchildren.

There will be a viewing from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday April 29th at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St. in Woodland, and a graveside service on Wednesday April 30th at 12:30 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Yolo County SPCA in Dale's name are appreciated.
