Dennise Bryan Edwards passed away at the age of 46 on Friday, May 2, from complications while battling the cancer that had returned. Dennise was surrounded by those that loved her and is now safe in the arms of god.

It was Dennise's faith in God that gave her the strength and courage to fight the battle of her life the past two years.

Dennise is survived by her husband of 11 years, Bill Edwards, Woodland; three sons; she was especially proud of her oldest son, Joey Bryan for the strong and respectful young man he has become. Along with Joey, she leaves behind, granddaughter, Kaylie Bryan (four), and Joey's companion and mother of Kaylie, Sarah Evon; David Brown and grandson, Daniel (three), and Jacob Brown.

Born in Weaverville, CA on Jan. 11, 1968, Dennise was the oldest of six children, she is survived by her mother, Patricia Wallace of Redding; father, Dennis Bryan of Oroville; sisters, Christine Bryan, Oroville, Amy (Tim) Forslund of Louisville, CO, Faith (Lance) Pragnell of Marysville, Elissa (Jake) Johnson of Lodi; along with two brothers, Jeremy Bryan from Florida and Justin (Mandy) Wallace of Redding; numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennise enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her family, close to her heart was her niece, Alexa, along with her many friends, she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Her passion was riding her horse, appropriately named "Passion".

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to the in her name honoring her sister, Amy Forslund, a cause close to her heart.

A Christian memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16, at St. Johns United Church of Christ, 432 Cleveland St., Woodland, CA 95795, beginning at 1 p.m., and followed by a celebration of life and potluck at The Elks Lodge, 500 Bust St., Woodland, beginning at 2 p.m Guests are asked to drop off food items prior to the service at The Elks Lodge and after 11:30 a.m.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
