Arnold W. Bruno WiltonArnold W. Bruno, 68, of Wilton, Gansevoort Road, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital. Born in Troy, NY, he was the son of Chauncey D. and Lauretta O. (Millington) Bruno. He was raised in Clifton Park, and served in the US Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was employed at the General Electric Company in Schenectady, NY where he worked in various positions, retiring in 1998 as a power plant operator. He was a founding and life member of the Wilton Emergency Squad, Inc. He was predeceased by his parents and father-in-law, Harold Montgomery. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Cathe Bruno of Wilton; his son, Jeffrey W. Bruno and his wife, Debra L. (Berg) Bruno; and his grandchildren, whom he adored greatly, Logan and Emily Bruno, all of Saratoga Springs; a brother, Curtis Bruno of Fonda and a sister, Lois Bruno of Clifton Park; his mother-in-law, Frances Montgomery and his sister-in-law, Francyne Cunningham, both of Clifton Park; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25 at Compassionate Funeral Care, Inc., 402 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs followed by a committal service with military honors at 1 p.m. at Saratoga National Cemetery. A reception will follow at Wilton Emergency Squad, 1 Harran Lane, Wilton. Calling hours will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at the funeral home.
