James Henry Croxton Suwanee, GA James was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on July 6th, 2014 at 12:15 a.m. in the State of Georgia. James passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes. James was born November 4th, 1939 in Schenectady, NY to Jesse and Fannie Mae Croxton. James graduated in 1958 from Mont Pleasant High School and was a US Army veteran. I would like to acknowledge Clarence and Rosa Lee Sutton and George Harrison Uncle Bud, who were very special people in his life. Also to Darlene Fordham who helped with his caregiving in NY. James enjoyed going to church and toward the end of his life, James accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. James was predeceased by his parents, Jesse and Fannie Mae Croxton; brothers, Jesse Croxton, Jr., Nathaniel Croxton and sisters, Lillian Croxton and Ruby Croxton. Also, Bertha Fordham, who he said was the love of his life. James is survived by his daughters, Mattie (Fordham) Frazier, Tina Fordham and son, Eric Washington; brother, Howard G. Croxton and sister, Dorothy Croxton. James will be laid to rest at a private ceremony with full military honors at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Thank you to everyone who has ever touched his life, whether you knew him as Mr. James, El Cid, The Duke or Cowboy James. He will be remembered most as Son, Brother, Dad and Granddad.
