Richard E. Holton SchenectadyRichard E. Holton, 74, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 surrounded by his family. Born in Weston, VT on Janu-ary 16, 1939, Richard was the son of the late William and Eva Holton Slade. Richard was educated in Vermont and later moved to Schenectady in the early 80's and made a home here. He was a truck driver for ARG Trucking in Rensselaer for many years. He was a member of VFW Men's Auxiliary, Post 1895 and a member of the Eagle's Club in Rotterdam. Richard is survived by his wife, Mary A. (nee: Tatsey) Holton; his children, Matthew Holton, Mary (Wayne) Spencer, Terri (David) Clark, Robert (Theresa Corlew) Maxam and Clara (Andre) Bisaillon; his seven grandchildren, Jaymes, Jocelyn and Andrew Spencer, Kyle and Deanna Clark and Andre and Natalie Bisaillon; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady.
