In 1984 Gerry and Jim joined the Peace Corps, volunteering in Fiji, as the first woman consultant in the Ministry of Cooperatives, helping train in computer operations and bookkeeping. She and her husband shared 30 happy years, filled with love and world travel. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, James Holman; her sister, Hope Bulger; niece and nephews Karen (Chana Akins) Diggs, David (Cherie), and Mark (Jamie); and Jim's children whom she loved as her own, Craig, Tracy Coats, and Mark (Ann); and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
