James J. Baudendistel, age 66, formerly of Mt. Prospect, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at his home. Born August 24, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of John William and Irma Rosella (Bergmann) Baudendistel. He graduated from St. George High School, Evanston, Illinois, class of 1965. He served honorably in the U.S. Army Reserves. He received his BS degree from Loyola University, Chicago and his JD from DePaul University. On August 21, 1971 he married his wife Patricia Joan Hull at the Sheil Chapel at Northwestern University. He was a CPA, JD and a CFA Charter Holder and he worked for Arthur Andersen of Chicago, Allstate Insurance, Northbrook, LaSalle Bank and ABN AMRO Chicago. He was an avid runner and coin and stamp collector, had a passion for the theater, and was a strong animal advocate. Beloved husband of Patricia, loving father of Michael Baudendistel of Baltimore, Maryland and Lynn Baudendistel of Chicago, Illinois. Dear brother of Mary (Ray) Wallin of Cincinnati, Ohio. Dear brother-in-law of John (Ramona) Hull of Summerville, South Carolina and Joan (John) Marotta of Palatine, Illinois. Devoted uncle of Maribeth (Scott) Grey, Jill (Dave) Greek, Michael (Emily) Shiverski and Jim Shiverski, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, and of Jenna, Jordan, and Joe Marotta of Palatine, Illinois and Johnson Hull of Summerville, South Carolina and great uncle of 7. Adored son-in-law of Muriel Hull-Haase of Highwood, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Irma Baudendistel and his fathers-in-law Lloyd George Hull and Edwin Haase.
