Obituary Condolences

Joseph M. Machinist Joseph M. Machinist. 75, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Advocate Condell Medical Center. He was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and had lived in Libertyville for the past 43 years. Joe was a graduate of Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, St. John's University in Jamaica. NY and received his doctorate from Purdue University. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville and was abiochemist for Abbott Laboratories from 1969 until 2002. Surviving are his daughters, Karen (Andrew) Schmidt of Grayslake, Katherine (Richard) Dierckens of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Debra Miller of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren, Maisey and Aidan Schmidt, and Karly, Kyle and Justin Dierckens; sister, Rosalie (Joe) Pineno of West Creek, WI; and nephews, Joey, Michael and the late Tommy Pineno. He is also survived by his former wife, Claire Machinist of Grayslake. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. A funeral service will be held during the visitation at 7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery in Lehman, PA.
