KEITH DWIGHT CARLSON Obituary
Keith Dwight Carlson was born on April 16, 1952 in Chicago to Marlen and Lillian (nee Honey) Carlson. He died Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Chicago. He was a life long member of the EAA. His passion brought him to the University of Illinois to study aviation. That passion never left him through the years. His other passion was auto racing where he attended his first race as a teen and continued to do so his entire life. Keith loved to spend time with his family. One of his favorite things to do was take his family on trips. He received his greatest enjoyment from seeing his family having fun together. Keith worked as the Vice President of Human Resources and Support Services for Hallstar Inc. where he was a mentor to many in his profession. He brought a sense of humor to all events, even the most serious situations. Keith is survived by his spouse Kathy (nee Koziol), whom he married on April 15, 1984 in Des Plaines; sons, Tim Carlson, Darren Carlson and Brian Carlson; sister-in-law, Janet Carlson, and many nieces and nephews.
