HAMPTON - James Allen Nelson, 35, passed away peacefully Thursday, October, 31 2013. He was a native and lifelong Hampton resident but his heart was anywhere in the country, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. James worked as a tree climber for Big Sky Tree Service and was a volunteer firefighter for Gloucester Volunteer Fire Company. James also spent many happy years living and working at Corbin Hall Farm. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Katherine Nelson; his brother, Michael Nelson and wife, Heidi; his sister, Erin Nelson; "brother" Chris Esada; his grandparents, Jean Sprouse and Miles and Jean Mizumoto all of Hampton; his aunt, Jeanne Brown of Oklahoma; and his nephews and niece, Rook and Sierra LaMendola and Kobe Nelson. The family would like to extend a special thanks to our extended family at Hampton Chevrolet for their love and support. Also to David and Shannon Brincat and Ronnie and Kathy Russell for allowing us to give James a final resting place on the farm. We would like to thank Dr. David Schiff, Marsha Molmar, Dr. Kim Schlesinger and Riverside Hospice and their caring staff for all their help. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Drive, Hampton.
