WILLIAMSBURG - William Innes Watson, Jr., 85, of Williamsburg, passed away on April 28, 2013. A Dallas, Texas native and Southern Methodist University graduate, Will was a Virginia resident for over 50 years, retiring from NASA after 33 years as an electrical engineer. An avid lover of outdoor sports, he especially enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and bird watching. Will is survived by Ardeth Watson, his wife of 32 years, his daughters, Sarah O'Connor of Oakton, Virginia and Lisa Rollins (Glenn) of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania from his marriage to Donna Gammill Watson; his step-son, Mark Cruciani (Mia), his stepdaughter Susie Baier(Tim), stepson Patrick Cruciani; and grandchildren, Tim O'Connor, Jack Rollins, Jessa Baier, Landon Baier and Tim Baier. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 2 by Reverend Milford C. Rollins at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. The Kingsmill Choraliers and Katie Wilson will provide musical selections. Following the service a reception will be held at Kingsmill's Wareham's Pond Center, 175 Wareham's Pond Road, Williamsburg.
