Wanda Sue Dodson Pilkerton Wanda Sue Pilkerton, 59, daughter of Lawrence and Nellie Smith Dodson, lived in Madison County her entire life. Sue went to be with the Lord on the morning of Tuesday, February 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved brother, Dean Dodson. Sue was a beloved employee of the Autumn Care Family, member of Body Expressions Fitness Center of Madison and Relay for Life Breast Cancer Walk in Madison. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry, and they would have celebrated 15 years of marriage in two weeks. Surviving also is her son, Shannon Dove and his wife, Elizabeth; and five grandchildren, Randi, Colton, Victoria, Wesley and Hannah, all of Madison; sisters, Darlene Jenkins and her husband, Larry, of Stanley and Amy Renaud and her husband, Bob, and their children, Cody, and Nicholas of North Port, Florida; her deeply loved sister-in-law, Linda Dodson and her son, Tony, and his wife, Paige, and their children, Drew and Jebediah, all of Christiansburg; her loving in-laws, Frank and Connie Pilkerton of Hood; and Jerry's four brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with interment at Criglersville/ Shiloh Cemetery. Pastor Danny Nicholson will officiate with music by Debbie and Lindsay Nicholson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013, at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the interment at Our Lady of the Blue Ridge Catholic Church Fellowship Hall. Please call Preddy's at 540-948-3600 to inform the family of how many will attend the luncheon so they may prepare properly for their guests.
