Jason Thomas Reimel

AGE: 38 • formerly of Morristown

Jason Thomas Reimel passed away on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. Jason had been a resident of Grapevine, TX for 8 years, and was employed by Xerox Corporation at the time of his passing. He had relocated to Grapevine to take a position with Verizon in 2004. Prior to moving to Texas, Jason had resided in the Morristown, NJ area since 1994 and worked for several corporations as an IT Specialist. Jason was born May 23, 1974 in Pottstown, PA. He attended Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Morristown, NJ and Central Middle School in Parsippany, NJ before relocating to Schwenksville, PA. While living in PA, he attended Springford Senior HS, in Royersford, graduating in 1992. He was a member of the National Honor Society and played on the Softball Team. His favorite activities were fishing, boating, swimming, snowmobiling, and video gaming. He was active in the Royersford Bible Fellowship, and was a junior counselor at their summer day camp. He also attended Pinebrook church camp. After graduating from high school, he went on to Penn State University, focusing on Computer Science/Engineering. Jason was known for his bright blue eyes, curly hair and kind nature. He was loved by family and friends, and respected by his employers, who referred to him as 'the best IT person they had ever had'. He was a computer 'wiz' and avid 'gamer', and was very proud of his beautiful blue Ford Mustang.

Jason is survived by his mother, Mary D. Booher, of Livingston, NJ; his father, Charles T. Reimel, Jr. and wife Deborah, of Schwenksville, PA; sisters, Lauren Reimel Lineman, Jaclyn Mary Reimel, and Ashley Marie Reimel of PA; great aunts and uncles, Beverly J. Morgan, Rosemary Paulison & Dennis Paulison of Morris Plains, NJ, and Loretta M. Smith, of Reno, NV; aunts and uncles, Tina Reimel Seibert, Lisa Reimel Hamilton, Kathy Reimel Clairmont, and Scott Reimel (deceased) of PA; nephew, Alexander, of PA; cousins, Jessica, Christian, Eric, Rachel, James, Julie and Scott, all of PA. and extended family. Jason was the grandson of Paulita J. (Glanville) Booher of Morristown and Earl Booher of Titusville, FL (both deceased), Charles T. Reimel Sr. and Mary D. Reimel of Norristown, PA (both deceased), and was the great grandson of Paul J. Glanville Sr. and Esther Glanville (both deceased) of Morris Plains, NJ.

A memorial visitation will be on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 1-3pm at Doyle Funeral Home, 106 Maple Ave., Morristown, NJ 07960 (www.doylefh.com). A Memorial Service will begin at 3:00pm.
