Roger J. Taylor

Roger J. Taylor passed away on Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 at Compassiate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital in Dover. He was 81. Roger was born and raised in Rochester, NY before moving to New Jersey in 1959. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952 until being honorable discharged in 1954. Roger worked at The Seeing Eye, Inc in Morristown as a Seeing Eye Instructor for 43 years before retiring in 2001. He was a former Fire Chief of the Mt. Tabor Fire Department and also an exempt member of the Morris County Chiefs Department.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy V. (nee-Foster); his son, Rhys & his wife, Dawn of Parsippany; his daughters: Marcia Constanzo & her husband, Eric of Roxbury and Laura Lemanowicz & her husband, Kenneth of Parsippany; his brother, Colin of North Platte, Nebraska; & his 7 grandchildren: Crystal, Kayla, Ryan, Kylie, Kelsie, Kirsten and Sara.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 2:30p.m. on Saturday, February 8th 2014 at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. 973-887-3235 or visit www.partroyfuneralhome.com.
