Funeral services for Bobby Joe Beall, 50, of Nacogdoches will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at Laird Funeral Home with Brother Sonny Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Ridge Cemetery. Bobby passed away on Aug. 4, 2014. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Laird Funeral Home. Bobby was born in Henderson, Texas on June 20, 1964, to Orbon Beall and Ruby Davis Oliver. Bobby grew up in Nacogdoches, and graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1982. Bobby loved to meet people. He never met a stranger. He would enjoy walking around Wal-Mart meeting new friends and sharing his candy with people at work. When he wasn't at Wal-Mart meeting friends, he would enjoy watching his movies, playing golf, going hunting, fishing and shooting his bow and arrows and sometimes his guns. Bobby was, at one time, also a volunteer firefighter for the Melrose Fire Department. Bobby is survived by his mother, Ruby Davis Oliver; brothers, Jerry Beall and wife, Mary, and Andy Beall and wife, Gwen; sisters, Kay Smith and husband, Coy, Gladys Rudisill and husband, Fred, and Bea Copeland and husband, Lonnie; and special friend, Donnell Sutcliffe; along with many nieces and nephews. Bobby was very well loved and will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his father, Orbon Beall; sister, Martha Barnett; and brother, Billy Beall. Pallbearers will be Eddie Beall, Ronnie Smith, Coy Smith, Drew Beall, Jeremiah Barnard, Shane Rogers, Andrew Humphreys and Mitchell Ray. Laird Funeral Home.
