Christopher Welch Obituary
Welch, Christopher Evan Age, 48, born on September 28, 1965 in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia died suddenly December 2, 2013 in Santa Monica, Ca. Despite a devastating diagnosis of lung cancer 3 years ago, he continued to work to support his family..flourishing in projects on television, film, and stage. His true love was stage, inspired early by Dr. Patrick Kelly, of the University of Dallas in Irving, Tx earning his BA and proceeding to University of Washington to earn his MA, join the Seattle Repertory Theater and begin his quick, successful journey to the New York theater scene performing on and off Broadway, movies to include most recently "The Master"., " Vickie Christina Barcelona", & "Lincoln". His television career involved many character roles, to include AMC's Rubicon, and at the time of his death he was shooting the new HBO series, "Silicon Valley" All who knew Christopher were touched by his infectious sense of humor, passion for life and love of art. He is survived by the love of his live, his devoted wife Emma (Roberts) and his amazing 3 Year old daughter, June Harper. His First Fan and Mother, Katherine Welch Burke of Dallas, Father William Welch of Dallas. Brother Derek Welch (Sibley), Sister McKenna Marx (Gary) of Dallas and extended family and friends who touched his life along the way. Celebration gatherings of Christopher's life are being planned for December in Dallas and late January in Manhattan.
