Clark, Sr., Denzel Louis aka "Sarge" 90, of Dallas, TX passed away on October 10, 2013. He was born on August 11, 1923 in Jasper, AR to Troy and Lona Clark. Sarge and Betty were married on November 28, 1953 in Ft. Worth, TX. They had 6 children. He served in the US Air Force for 23 years, and was a veteran of WWII. He was a Dallas resident for 47 years. Sarge was employed by Texas Highway Department for 20 years. He will be remembered by his loving wife, Betty and their children, Cindy and Larry Hair, Maryville, TN; Denzel and Terese Clark, Lawton, OK; Troy Jay Clark, OK; and Anna Clark, Dallas, TX. He is also survived by brothers, Troy Denver Clark Jr., Austin Clark and sister, Freddie Livengood; grandchildren, James Cruze, Tammy Beason, David Cruze, Bobby Joe Cruze, Michael Cruze, Kevin Day, Shane Day, Shannon Day, Denver Foster, Jimmy Foster, Jr, Tracie-Jae Clark, Travis Clark, Chris Clark, Patrick Clark, Danyel Barnett and Aaron Edwards; numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. Sarge is preceded in death by brother, Marion; sisters Nora and Faye; and sons, Wesley and Billy Day. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
