McKissick, Mr. Garlis Dale Of Dallas, Texas passed away June 20, 2013 in Dallas. He was born January 21, 1930 in Farmersville, Texas the son of Garlis and Lillie Crelia McKissick. He moved to Dallas in 1941 and attended Crozier Tech High School the class of 1946. He recieved his BBA and MBA degrees from SMU in 1954. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and later served in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 20 years attaining the rank of Lt. Commander. He was assistant V.P for Merill Lynch in Dallas and was a member of the Unity Church of Dallas. Dale was an avid traveler and had seen most of the world. He is survived by loving cousins and a host of cherished friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Unity Church of Dallas 6525 Forest Lane with Rev. Laura Southerland officiating and visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Graveside rites will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas at 3:00 P.M.
