Reifein, Helen (Macicek) Stacha Age 75, of Dallas, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 in Dallas. A rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dallas. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Helen was born July 21, 1937 in West. She graduated from Abbott High School in 1955. She also attended the University of Texas in Dallas where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. On June 9, 1956, she was united in marriage to John H. Stacha. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1985. John was assistant director of Dallas Water Utilities and past president of the American Water Works Association. Helen married Will Reifein on July 18, 1987 in Dallas and worked for Insurance Resources in Dallas until her retirement in 2005. Helen was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dallas where she was a founding member of the Pre-School Mother's Club. She also was a member of St. Cecilia's Circle, Catholic Daughters of America in Dallas, and McLennan-Hill Czech Heritage Society of Texas. She enjoyed Moravian music, traveling to the Czech Republic, baking, playing the piano, spending time with her family and she especially loved to dance. Survivors include her husband, Will Reifein of Dallas; two daughters, Donna Stacha of Dallas and Sharon Cortez and husband Tony of Richardson; two step-sons, Floyd Reifein, Thomas Reifein and wife Kimberly; a step-daughter, Yolanda Launder and husband David; two brothers, Marvin Macicek and wife Janelle, Larry Macicek and wife Charla; a grandson, John Taylor Stacha; four step-grandchildren, Lindsay and Olivia Refein, Jennifer and Jonathon Launder; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and her faithful companion, "Toby".
