Westbrook, Mr. Jack William Age 84, of Dallas passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at his residence in Dallas. He was born on July 4, 1928 in Kerens, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the chapel at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church at 8011 Douglas Avenue, Dallas, Texas. The son of Luther Westbrook and Doris Anderson Westbrook of Kerens, Texas, Jack was salutatorian of his graduating class, received his B.S. from Texas A&M, and his MBA from Southern Methodist University; where he was a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon Management Honorary. He later earned his CPA. He was employed with the Lone Star Gas Plant in Trinidad, Texas. He was moved to Dallas where he rose through various positions to Vice-President of Lone Star (later Enserch Exporation). After his retirement he became to Executive Director of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society (COPAS), supervising and visiting chapters in twenty-seven states. He was active in various professional organizations. He was an active member of St. Michael's serving as president of The Men of St. Michael's, and also the Brotherhood of St. Andrew. He was a veteran having served his country in the Unites States Air Force, serving as 2nd LT. then later 1st LT., and then the position of captain in the Air Force Reserves. He is survived by his wife, Katharine Regester Westbrook; daughter, Jane Stringer and husband Bryan; son, John R. Westbrook and wife Katerina; granddaughters, Sarah Katharine Westbrook and Victoria Margaret Westbrook; step-granddaughter, Katelin Adams; sister, Margaret Westbrook Smith of Crowley; brother-in-law, Bill Regester of Corsicana; niece, Polly Westbrook Olson and husband Carl of San Antonio; nephews, Gary Smith and family of Granbury and Greg Smith and family of Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Lt. Col Luther J. Westbrook (USAF Ret.) In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the , or to the Parkinson's Society.
