Terrill, Joan Ayr Wooldridge Joan Ayr Wooldridge Terrill, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed into God's loving arms October 25th, 2013, in Houston, Texas, from breast cancer. Born to Nellie Gertrude Weiser Wooldridge and Ross Warren Wooldridge on June 21st, 1918, in San Antonio, Texas. She lived quietly in God's loving grace for 95 years. Known for her thoughtful remembrances, a steady stream of notes and cards flowed from her home to those who were blessed by receiving them. She was always there with a plate of cookies or a small gift. She grew up in Denver, CO, but spent 50 years of her life in Garland, Texas, where she had many loving friends and neighbors and gave freely of her time and talent to the church and the hospital. She was one of the original members of the Tale Spinners League. She is survived by her son Russell Warren Baity, his wife Kathie, their children: Matthew, Cameron, Austin and Lindsay and 3 great grandchildren; her daughter Carolie Allgood, her husband Jerry, their children: Jonathan, Alex and Clayton and 6 great grandchildren; her step daughters Lea Fischer and Marge Ward and their families; and her niece, Jan Weller and her family as well as numerous extended family and friends. She leaves a legacy of love to all who knew her.
