Francis Jr., John P. Born March 23, 1927, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Totsy; his devoted son, Phillip, and his wife, Donna; his adoring daughter, Becky Lindauer; and his most precious grandchil-dren, Carter, Tucker and Makensie Francis. John is predeceased by his parents, John and Josephine; his brother, Nicolas; and his beloved son-in-law, Jerry D. Lindauer. John grew up in East Cleveland, OH, and served in the Navy during WWII. After the war, he played professional baseball. It was during that time that he met the love of his life, Totsy. Soon thereafter they started a family and settled in Solon, Ohio. He began his 32 year career as a MetLife Insurance Agent. In 1978, John and Totsy moved to Dallas, Texas. While here, he enjoyed gardening, baseball and spending as much time as possible with his 3 grandchildren. They brought him tremendous happiness and he loved them deeply. He was blessed with the love and laughter of his best friend, Rick Daddio; and he dearly loved him. John was the ultimate gentleman. He was pure goodness, happiest when he was doing for others, and filled with love for his family and friends. Our love for him is indescribable, and he will be forever missed. Per his request, there will be no formal service.
