Jones, Marshall William Bill Jones, age 67, of Jackson, Wyoming, passed away February 8, 2013 after a brief illness in Jackson, WY. Bill was born December 12, 1945 in Weatherford, TX. He graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Texas at Austin. On January 26, 1980, Bill married Margaret Kay McCollum and they made their home in Dallas where Bill worked as an insurance broker for Northcutt, Cathey, Houseman. Later the company was sold to AON Corporation and Bill was a Senior Vice President in the Dallas office. In 2009, he and Kay moved full time to Jackson, and Bill established his own insurance company, Marshall Jones & Associates. Bill loved fly-fishing, the outdoors, Texas smoked barbeque and his black labs. Bill was a member of the Board of Directors of the Jackson Hole One-Fly Foundation for over 20 years. Bill is survived by his wife Kay Jones of Jackson WY; two children Elizabeth Jones Walther of Coupeville, WA, and Matthew Jones of Vail, CO; his sister Katherine Harris of Dallas, TX; and four grandchildren: Merrill and Jones Walther and Caroline and Matthew Jones. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Martha Jane and Marshall William Jones and his sister Jenny Jones Cox. A memorial service celebrating Bill's life will be held in Dallas and Grand Saline, TX in April. A memorial will be held this summer in Jackson, WY.
