Marvin Eads 1935 – July 2011 Marvin joined the Navy at 17 and retired from service at 21. He worked as a policeman, mortician, flower shop owner, various positions at Texas Instruments and house parent/electrician at Boles Home for children. In 1981 he took the position of Manager at Forest Dale Apartments for Senior Citizens in Dallas. During his 31 years as manager the complex maintained 100% occupancy. Marvin's talents led him in many directions. For many years he preached part time at several Dallas area locations; he was a swim instructor for the Red Cross for at least 10 years, teaching ages 1 through adult; he was an artist that could paint anything, even portraits; he was a balloon artist and magician. He performed for store openings, promotions, private parties and for the Dallas and Addison Police. Every Friday and Saturday he did "balloon art" at CiCi's Pizza, corner of Forest Lane and Webb Chapel. Marvin positively impacted countless lives by his words, his job performance, his honesty and his care and love for his family. He was a Christian, a great representative for God. The world was a loser the day he passed. Forever in our hearts: Your family You have been gone 2 years, but we love you more than ever. You were the most capable, loving, thoughtful, helpful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Marvin was married to his wife, JoAnn for 56 years. They had 3 children: Marva Horne, Rona Fuller, and Monte Eads; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
