Friedl, Nancy Sue Nancy Sue Friedl passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Longview, Texas after a brave battle with Alzheimer's. Born May 29, 1934 in Tyler, Texas to E.J. and Myrl Hornbeck, she spent many of her early years in Henderson, Kilgore, and Longview, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Friedl and her parents. She is survived by her two sisters Sarah R. Tuttle of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Mary A. Webb of Longview, Texas, her brother-in-law Joseph M. Webb, and many nieces and nephews. Nancy graduated from Kilgore College and began her career in accounting in Longview at Reliable Motor Supply. She had a lovely voice and enjoyed singing in the Wesley Methodist Church choir. While living in Longview, she was very involved in the Pilots Club and served as chapter President. She fell in love with Bob Friedl and married him in 1967. They were married 31 years until Bob passed away in 1998. Nancy was a long time resident of Dallas, Texas and worked as an accountant until 2006. Nancy and Bob were active members of the Elks Lodge in Dallas. She spent the last six years of her life in Longview close to her family and she will be dearly missed. Graveside services will be held at 12:45PM, Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Restland Memorial Park with visitation from 10:00AM - 12:00PM, prior to the service at Restland Funeral Home.
