Cearley, Jr., Philip Whitman Was born November 4, 1940 in Dallas, TX and died July 2, 2013 in Rockwall, TX. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip Whitman Cearley Sr. and Velma Cearley; his wife, Vicki Cearley; his son, Philip Whitman Cearley III; and his daughter, Kristina Johnson. Survived by daughters Anne Henderson and Robert; Marci Cuthbertson and Terry; brothers Scott Cearley, Elliott Cearley and Anita; grandchildren Kelly, Kimberly, Candy, Kristina, Ashley and Garrett; great-grandchildren Jason and Hurley; and loving partner in life for the past fourteen years, Linda Henigan. Phil proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1961 on submarine duty in the Pacific Ocean. He was a Master Mason in good standing at James A. Smith Lodge No. 395. He enjoyed a long career in the trucking industry and retired from Southwest International Trucks in 2005. Phil's passion was flying. He was a licensed commercial pilot and member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Phil was a loving, kind man who lived his life with great integrity. His many friends are a testament to his caring nature and wonderful sense of humor. VISITATION will be from 4:00-6:00 PM, Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel. SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 8, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, TX 75219.
