Heidtke, Sandra Jean Sandy Heidtke was born in Pecos, Texas, on October 18, 1962, the youngest of five children of A.A. and Elouise Melton. She graduated in 1992 from Texas A&M University with a degree in kinesiology. She married Jonathan Wright Heidtke and had three wonderful children: Heath, Hannah and Hunter. Sandy lost her battle with Stage 4 melanoma January 28. Sandy was a teacher all her life, from Sunday School and pre-school to coaching various teams. Knowing Sandy was, indeed, God's blessing to each of us. She is remembered as a woman who lived life to the fullest, showed kindness and respect to all, laughed easily and loved her God.
