Bost, Thomas Daniel Born April 15, 1917 in Novice, TX and passed away November 9, 2012 in Round Rock, TX. Dan, 95, was a longtime active member of Casa View and White Rock United Methodist Churches. Dan was a proud Eagle Scout and attended Tyler Junior College followed by UT Austin in the 1930's. He married Mary Helen in 1940, proudly served in the US Navy during WWII stationed in Guam, and later settled his family in Dallas. He went to work with the Corps of Engineers and eventually retired in 1986 as a VP of Mason-Johnston & Assoc. He was an avid hunter and wood carver and also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all his family. Preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Mary Helen Bost; son, Roy Wade Bost; and daughter, Nancy Katherine Bost. Dan is survived by grandchildren, Roy Daniel Bost and wife, Elizabeth Mathew, and Miranda Bost Marshall and husband, Mark; and great grandson, Aidan Christopher Marshall. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Restland Abbey Chapel.
